i'm considering getting this game, but i've been reading some reviews that
say it has a horrible framerate on the GC...apparently it's great otherwise,
but sometimes, according to the reviewers, the framerate makes the game not
worth playing...i was wondering what other's thought of ...

I was browsing the usual file sharing apps and sites and was surprised to
see gamecube game images.  Are these for burning to minidiscs and playing on
chipped cubes or is there an emulator?  I was under the impression that it
was going to take longer than this to hack the GC.

My children have a game cube and have the super mario sunshine game to go
with it.  It all works fine and they get hours of fun out of it.  I have
just bought a second controller for them so two can play at once but I
cannot get the second controller to work.  If I just use one ...

i know i'm going to sound really stupid, but i absolutely suck at defense.

I don't have either of the first two RL games.  I do have both StarFighter
games for PS2.  I used to play X-Wing on the PC.
That said, Rebel Strike is pretty good.  It's not stellar (pardon the pun),
but it's not horrible.  The fighter/craft missions play like StarFighter
