I was wondering whether anyone knows of any servers based in New Zealand or Australia that will enable me to play GTR2 online. I live in NZ, so I assume that there would be too much lag to play GTR2 via servers in the States. Is that correct?

I'm just asking this based on my experience with the demo. I like the game and was thinking of ordering it, but most of the demo servers seemed to be European. The racing is great, but lag is an issue. There are like 4 very low ping servers near me that are all Drift.

After 10 or so years as a regular reader (if not contributor) on R.A.S, I think the time has come to abandon USENET for a web based forum. The usage of R.A.S is in decline, and most Internet users these days wouldn't know what a newsgroup was.
