| Cheat Detection System on Onlineracin.com | 22 Jul 2004 18:20 GMT | 10 |
I'm sure some of you noticed a few days ago on OLR, you had to download a new .cab file before entering the arena. The reason why I kept quite on explaining what the upgrade does; because we have installed a Cheat Detection on OLR. I wanted to see who was being a

| GPL Display Problem | 22 Jul 2004 17:02 GMT | 5 |
Here's a weird one for you - the answer will probably be so simple I'll be hugely embarrassed (but that's usual so no problem). GPL had been on my system for years but I rarely use it now. It has sounds/cpu/bandwidth/3D fixes on it and has for ages. I've used a Radeon

| track modelling question | 22 Jul 2004 15:10 GMT | 1 |
I've been thinking about modelling a track based in my home town for a long time, and I think it would be a very challenging street circuit which is also fun to drive. My question is: if you'd start with track modelling from scratch,

| Comments On F1C Mclaren Mod | 22 Jul 2004 04:56 GMT | 3 |
Has anyone had an opportunity to try this Mod? I recently acquired it and found it a very good piece of work. I especially like the audible skid sounds which have been lacking in the other mods and the F1C itself. The cockpit is also nicely designed with twin mirrors. There is ...

| NASCAR Heat: A question... | 22 Jul 2004 04:29 GMT | 21 |
Is it possible to slow down the extraordinary acceleration of the AI cars at the start/restart of a race? They seem to have the equivalent of a Saturn-V up their exhaust pipes and even tho' I qualify on pole position, I am passed by half the field by the

| build your own tracks? | 21 Jul 2004 17:35 GMT | 9 |
Why are there so few racing games now days that let you build your own tracks? Anybody remember Stunts, or the even older Racing Destruction Set? I'd like to see a rally game that let you design your own tracks. V-Rally on the PC let you do this, but the physics were very ...

| Open Wheel Mod : Graphic issues | 21 Jul 2004 17:06 GMT | 2 |
I have a fairly competent system that gives me 60's & 70's FPS in NR2003 and mods pretty consistently but the Open Wheel Mod I run in the 40's then it bogs down to single digit figures for a few seconds a lap and then back up to the 40's (by which time I've stuffed it into the wall) ...

| Question for high end wheel owners | 21 Jul 2004 13:25 GMT | 1 |
Just curious as to how much precision can be had by upgrading my present rig with a high end wheel (TSW, BRD, ECCI, etc). What I'd like to know is what sort of numbers you get in DXTweak, or the calibration screens in GPL or N2003. Looking for the range and step size when turning ...
