ASE problems could be due to disk corruption from Ultimate Defrag v3,
downloaded Aug 14, 2010.  ASE B586 was downloaded Aug 11, 2010.

Hi. I run FS9 on Windows XP (I'm one of those that didn't like FSX and
got rid of it after a year).
Assuming I am going to stick with FS9 (a pretty safe bet), what would
the advantages be, if any, of reinstalling it on Windows 7, 64-bit?

that being said and agreed upon in a "told ya so" kind of way, I was
surprised to see that my old (3.0GHz) overclocked to (3.4GHz)P4 system runs
NFS undercover more smoothly in Win7 than it did in XP. I have much better

i tried installing a fresh NFS Carbon DVD on my HP Pavillion Series

Since I first played the game it's become harder to 'take out' other cars
when required; ie the Carmen Re-match. I think I know what's wrong. They
must have changed something in the game patch; which is really annoying as
you used to be able to do stuff like ram into them really ...
