eXtreme Gammon17 Mar 2010 04:53 GMT-
Does anyone have any info on the design/architecture of XG?
I learned bg on gamesite2000, playing many games against their XG bot. I
remember reading  it was  then based on  gnubg.  Is this  new commercial
stand-alone version based on gnubg?
Jellyfish. Cheating or just Lucky15 Mar 2010 21:07 GMT50
Hi everyone.  This topic was discussed a lot 10 years ago.
I wonder.  Does anyone here play against Jellyfish as well as either
GNUBG or Snowie?
What is your experience?  Do you feel Snowie and GNU play fair while

Plakato (mahbusa):  Looking for a link or software to play15 Mar 2010 00:42 GMT-
I enjoy playing Plakato, also known as Tapa and Mahbusa(arabic).  Its
a version of backgammon where you line up the checkers all on one side
of the board and you "imprison" a members checker so he cannot advance
until you move.
Position from "Advice to the Dicelorn"14 Mar 2010 22:33 GMT1
I'm enjoying reading through Kleinman's book "Vision Laughs at Counting
with Advice to the Dicelorn."  There's a lot of interesting stuff in there.
However, occasionally Kleinman goes badly astray.  Below is a position
that Kleinman misanalyzes.  X is leading 2-away/4-away and has ...

So now I have a bunch of field green marines soon to be highlighted up to

Wooohoooo!  The weather-man is finally calling for temperatures in the
high 50's low 60's which should be enough for me to get more stuff
primered next weekend and perhaps even air brushed.
In preparation for the occassion I've been prepping minis like mad.

Howdy,
Well, I got in a 2nd game with the New Nid Codex, and frankly I'm
missing the old version already.  Orks field better troops, IG field far
far more troops AND they can get armored transports... sigh.

Forgotten Realms - Loudwater17 Mar 2010 01:33 GMT2
I plan on starting my campaign out using Loudwater in the Forgotten
Realms campaign setting.  Question is this:  Anyone have any ideas how
to incorporate the pre-made introductory encounters into a meshed "on-
the-fly" campaign.  I have titled my campaign, "Getting Your Feet

Reduce XP for repeat random encounters?16 Mar 2010 11:02 GMT32
I've read some articles where DMs complained that the players weren't
in enough of a hurry, and in some cases were deliberately slowing
their progress through the campaign in order to get more XP from
random encounters. I think I've found a realistic solution that

Sorry for posting a question which has probably been posted countless
