I was just wondering if anyone here can help me.

I can't figure out how to get past the point where the bad guys raise
the bridge to stop you getting across.

I did find a reference to swimming past a waterfall on the right, and
climbing up a cliff. But the waterfall is on the left, and I can't find
the spot described. I can get a short way up the waterfall but as far as
I can tell, it's a dead end.  If this was halo, you'd just push the
button, and close the bridge again. (-:

Anyone remember how to do this?
