Ninja Gaiden 2 = awesome. Lots of environments, lots of enemies, lots
of weapons, and lots of just plain great action. BUT, it helps if you
played the first, because then you'll already have adapted to the
camera "quirks". And by quirks, I mean very irritating issues that
may annoy you. There are also a few questionable design decisions at
certain points, and a few bugs that should've been fixed.
But overall, it's a must have for action fans.

Quick update: the Ninja Gaiden II Gamefaqs board is buzzing with
complaints about an update that screws up the game. If you get NG2,
stay offline until you can verify that the issue has been fixed.

I didn't want to touch Ninja Gaiden 2 at first either because of the
reviews but eventually bought it and played it. Personally, it is one of
the best experiences so far on the console for a game of its type.

I was never even able to beat the first boos from the first one, so
there was no way in heck I was going to get the second one, until this
past week when I played about twenty minutes of NGII at Comic-Con. I
actually enjoyed it, and may get it when I can get it for under 30
bucks...
