Get Emerald or something instead of restarting. You can use you teams to
battle on Colosseum.

I already have Emerald, but im having the same problem on Emerald. But I
havent completed the Pokedex on Emerald, thats the only difference. How is
Colosseum? I think I might just get that game.

Colosseum is pretty good. Not the same as the Gameboy installments, but it's
something different. I recently got XD gale of Darkness. How did you
complete you pokedexes without Colosseum?

Thanx for info. on Colleseum I guess ill try and buy it. To complete a
"Kanto" Pokedex you dont need Colleseum; All you need is Firered and get a
freind that has Leafgreen( Or the oppisite) a link-cable/wireless-adapter,
and then trade the pokemon you cant catch on each others game.

I didn't realise FR/LG had Cyndaquil and co. from the second generation
starters.
Charmander-123 - 04 Sep 2006 19:25 GMT
I dont think It has Cindaquil. I dont know how to get Cindaquil. Iv have only
completed my "Kanto" pokedex, not Johto/National.

Well Colosseum can help complete other parts of the dex.

I'm terribly sorry for the long delay in replying I'm afraid I've been a
tad ill and haven't been able to type.
I basically filled my pokedex as much as it is possible to do in the UK
and finished the tasks set in the game,(short of course of training
eveything up to level 100.)
If you do want a colosseum game I would suggest the 2nd rather than the
first. Not so much for the pokemon you can get,(lugia in the second, Ho-
oh in the first,) but for the enjoyment of the game itself. Although
having said that neither are a patch on the handheld games.

Thank you for the information. I will be looking forward to purchasing
Colleseum. Afterwards, I'll put some thought in to purchasing XD.

Interesting; both my wife and I preferred Coliseum to Gale of Darkness
(although it's always nice to get a Lugia).  I agree that they aren't
as good as the handhelds, but they are different.  Having played
in Kanto, Johto, and Hoenn, it's nice to have a different map and
somewhat different story line.

My girlfriend and I are still slowly playing through the second,(she has
caught the lugia after using nearly 30 ultra balls and a couple of timers
but then got her arse kicked quite spectacularly.)  We both just feel
that there is a little more to the game. The pokespots I'll agree are a
minor addition but it is nice to see the battle discs reintroduce the
school aspect of stadium2. The first colliseum was just an unrelenting
grind of trainer after trainer with at least one pokemon in your party
you didn't want. At least with the introduction of the chambers that
isn't a problem and the additions give you a break from grinding out
levels.Although Jovi's third person referal of herself is grating, at
least I didn't want to push her off the nearest cliff like I did with the
red headed bint who always got in the way >;-)

They make a handheld version XD or Colleseum. It would be very nice if they
did that, The game play would be toataly different;  Yet most features should
be in the hand held version. And the people that like playing hand held (like
me) versions would get a chance to play a probrobly realy good game on their
GBA's.
