Server-side updates
* Stat database stability improvements
* Improved server stability
* Max Clan limit changed from 32 to 64
* Viral Rank-up bug fixed and correct for players that were
accidentally ranked up.
* "Time-in-Vehicle" Stats fixed so certain awards can now be granted
properly.

Client-side updates for Patch v1.1
* Stat connection, fetch/post fixes
* Significantly improved client connection stability
* Quad "????" Ping display bug fixed.
* Added support for Player-Ranked Servers.
* Game synchronization fixes due to fluctuating network conditions
(packet-drop).
* Crash fixes for end of game and split screen.

Yeah, but didnt they then take it back?? And the slip only worked for the
people that had the Blu-ray version.

are people having problems with server stability? I've only dropped out of
2 or 3 servers since launch. My main problem has been on connecting on Sony
servers. Even when it shows space available i get the message about no space
available (when I know it isn't the case). It takes me 5-10 tries each day

I wonder if I'm going to be demoted :-) I'm a captain and I know there are
a lot of goals that I never reached points-wise that it still let me rank
up.

On the rank-ups, I wish they weren't all geared towards certain things like
"10 kills in an aircraft". I personally hate flying the warhawks and I suck
at them compared to everyone else, but I feel I have to become proficient in
them just to rank up, when I actually prefer the ground combat.

Is there a place where all the ranks are laid out. With the requirements
next to them?

I prefer the ground combat as well.

yes, if you go to profile one of the tabs has each of the ranks and what
award is required to get them. You can then go to the awards tab to figure
out what you need to do to get that specific award to get promoted.

For example, I'm a captain and to get promoted to major requires "Warhawk
Exemplary Service" medal, which basically means I have to have 25 kills in
an aircraft in a single round , which I may never get since I
a) suck in the warhawk
b) because I suck, rarely fly in the warhawk

Heck even in the dogfight modes I only get 2 or 3 kills :-) And it'll take
me forever to reach the global requirements because I just don't fly in the
planes enough.

And i'm with you on this. I'm better at ground support. My only downfall is
those damn guided missiles and the aircraft turrets shooting from very far
away.

Also, because the maps dont really have distinctive landmarks, and are
pretty close to being mirrored for each side, it's hard to tell where the
hell you are... or were after you died.
