Sounds more like "Left 4 Dead" with swords...
Pity that Nostromo is no more around to "explain" why it ***will*** (stomps
his foot on the ground) suck :o)

If its Oblivion with coop thats good enough for me.

Sounds like it is a dungeon crawler hack 'n' slash with coop so won't be
like Oblivion at all. Not my kind of RPG so probably won't buy.

I read something about this yesterday. I'm curious if their "matching
service" will work very well. I usually don't like playing online
much anymore with all the Leroys...

Looks more like Hellgate: London with swords, to me. Sounds like a winner.

Yup, looks more like a action oriented, dungeon crawler, hack and
slash against hordes of enemies. Sign me up. Between this and Brink,
I'm liking what Bethesda's up to.

Since Diablo is a Nethack clone...
Nethack with graphics :-)

ooo kay... Diablo is as much a nethack clone as a goat is a variety of
horse.

Well, the original Diablo was referred to as a rougelike, which was true,
depending on the requirements of the term. Diablo 2 wasn't really a
roguelike.

HG:L *had* swords. :)
Sigh - I miss HG:L - I hope Hunted is good, I need a good romp,
killing monsters.

It's Bethesda. They aren't known for being good at 'killing
monsters'. Their combat sucks a.s. They are known for 'Sandbox'.
Hunted isn't going to be a sandbox game, it will most likely suck
a.s. All there is in the game is combat and talking to people and
hunting down hidden items. O.k. so people who like hunting down
hidden items will be happy. Whee...

I highly doubt its going to be an item intensive game, ala Diablo or
Hellgate. It sounds more like a co-op Oblivion with more emphasis on
(hopefully better) combat. So maybe more like MM:Dark Messiah. I
don't mind a little bit more action in my RPG, but with Diablo 3
coming, give me a little break from the slot machine item rewards so I
won't be sick of it before it even comes out.
