Yep. All done.
I'm not even sure how I feel about it. Wasn't great. Wasn't bad. It
just sort of "happened".
Now on to something good... C&C 3...

Was it comparable to Deus Ex(original), as Gamespot review suggests?

In my opinion, Stalker wasn't even close to Deus Ex. Deus Ex was a lot
of fun, and I have fond memories of it. Stalker was pretty much
plodding through the same thing over and over. About half-way through I
gave up on the side missions and just did the main storyline. Thank
goodness somebody provided some save games to see the other endings.
The one I got was the money one, and it explained nothing and the game
made no sense at all. One (or maybe more, who knows) of the endings
lets you talk to a holographic guy, and he explains what the game is
about and what is going on. If you don't see that ending, you're
screwed. Even though I saw it, I'm still not completely sure what is
going on. Seems like not-very-good sci-fi to me.
Stalker won't be replacing Deus Ex on any "best of" lists...

Thanks for the info. As a Deus Ex nut(replayed the thing more than 4 times
now), I can understand it'll be hard to compare.... Even the sequel couldn't
come close to that of the original masterpiece of a game.

Okay, it's some kind of advertisement, but if you liked Deus Ex you should
try Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines. IMHO it jumps all over it :)!

Thanks for the recommendation. I've been somewhat intimidated to give this
game a try(vampire movies usually turns me off), but I'd definitely try now,
especially if it's similar to DX.

It's not just similar, it's completely superior ;)! Okay, I admit I'm a
fan of it and found DX overrated. But just for the record, I never cared
much about Vampires too, before Bloodlines.

Bastard! For that, you may consider yourself a pariah of the (quality)
gaming community. :)
