... so here's a troll. People who don't invert the y-axis in FPS games are sick and wrong. <gd&r> I always invert the y-axis. The standard/default way is bass-ackwards to me. There was a sniper game on the Dreamcast years ago that I rented that wouldn't let you invert the way you aimed the scope. Get a touchscreen overlay for your monitor you twat, and the new smack-o-rama software.... that way you can whack the badguys to a bleeding pulp with your old flight-stick.... or a big kitchen spoon for that matter..... or even your dick if you are well equipped...... in your case you could always just poke them in the eye !!! Funny you should mention that... I bought Logitech's Wingman Warrior during the initial explosion of FPS because i wanted every possible advantage in Doom's deathmatch. I ended up returning back to the keyboard after giving the joystick and it's special Z-axis spinning knob (meant to help with turning while the Y-axis was forward/back and the X-axis was strafe-left/right -this was before the popularization of the keyboard and mouse in FPS games). HOWEVER, i found the joystick to be an absolute *dream* for MechWarrior 2. The spinning knob could twist your mech's turret around like a dream while the joystick itself controlled movement; otherwise, it was all hype. You wouldn't be curious in a novelty joystick.. would you? -- best regards, mattchu np: Dead Moon, "It's OK" I played the original Jedi Knight with a joystick for movement (left hand) and my mouse to look (right hand).
