My response to this was a resounding "so?"  There's still ige / bel /
others and they probably won't stop anytime soon.

All this means is that ther IGE owned auction site can prosper--much more to
it then meets the eye.

Another aspect to the whole issue is inidivdual property rights.   (IP
rights)  Regardless of the Tos and Eula---this is  much bigger legal issue
to consider then just what  one's opinion is,  based on the user agreement,
about buying and selling gold---it involves virtual property rights of the
individual and the future and transcends a companies claim of ownership of
your effort.

A lot of people who are frustrated with the Blizzard approach to property
are turning to Second Life and making a good real-life living off it. I'm
very tempted to switch games.
