Ya it's awesome actually. They basically just attach the key you get
out of the box to the trial account you already started and you can
just log in and keep playing. You get the additional 30 days that come
with the game too, which basically gives a new user who had a trial key
40 days of free WoW. This is how my RL bro got in, through a 10-day key
they sent out with some console magazine he subscribes to.

Yup. I've never ever even touched a CD. I played in the F&F beta and
then have just upgraded since then. Never done an actual install off CD.
