Just seen someone mount their horse while on the boat. They were somehow stood on the very side and summoned the horse. They were then able to jump straight off ready mounted at the other side. Stand right on the edge, although I have seen people stand on the box on the main deck and summon the mount there. A quick jump off to the top of the gangway when the ship docks and they're off running. Never been in that much of a hurry, personally. There are several places on a boat where you can activate your mount: - on the very edge of the boat (mind you don't fall off the boat!) - on the crate that's on the main deck (if you can figure out how to get on it in the first place!) - on the very edge of the stairs that lead to the upper deck. You can do it on the rigging too - again you need to position yourself so you are not standing on the rigging but appear to be floating next to it. steve.kaye I mount on the rigging and jump off the boat when it hits shore. Like you just said - stand on the edge of the boat.
