I am getting a bit worried now. We all know Halo 3 will come out some time within the next two years at least. But what will happen after that. Will that be the end of the Halo series? What will replace it as the top game. I know it is a bit early to call but I am starting to get a little nervous at not looking forward to another Halo when Halo 3 is on the shelves. Don't worry. I wouldn't be surprised to see Bungie do something not at all related to Halo after the next game. Assuming the next game is Halo 2, as Bungie has not actually announced anything at all about the game. After all, Bungie made two Myth games-- then the franchise was sold to Take Two. They made two Marathon games-- and then published Marathon Infinity, developed by ex-Bungie guys who formed Duality. The Halo 2 press release, if memory serves, said the game would "bring to a close" the story of the Master Chief. Of course, it didn't, so I am assuming that they have to do another game. But after that, it might be curtains for Master Chief. Narcogen http://rampancy.net Could it be possible that the master chief sacrifices himself to save humanity? Up against extreme odds humanities only hope sacrifices his life to save the universe from a fate worse than death. Oh lets not go that cliche.
