Ok I have found a skull how the hell do you pick them up?  I have tried
walking up to it but nothing shows to pick it up.  I just see the skull on
the ground and nothing else.  I am refering to the birthday skull on the
heretics station.

For those who don't know where this skull is it is on the level when you are
chasing the heretic and you are flying the banshee.  Fly right down to the
bottom of the station and find three rather large rocket looking structures
(quite large).  I think the middle one is where you find a bunch of grunts
dancing around in a circle (on top of the structure).  You need to look
carefully as they don't attack you when you approach.  I nearly flew right
past them the first time until I noticed something moving in the corner of
my eye.  The grunst are easy to knock off just blast em with the banshee
cannons.  Exit the banshee and walk up to where the grunts were dancing and
there is your skull.  Hmmm I think this one makes unsheilded enemies explode
when they die.  So if you shoot grunts they will explode.  This is handy if
you get one grunt in a tight group as when he pops the blast will damage and
possibly even severely injure the others nearby.

Um... try holding X anyway. The game isn't designed to show a pickup
prompt for the skulls.

Hmmm when I pick the skull up I simply carry it.  If I change weapons I drop
the skull.  Do I keep the effects if I drop the skull.

Yes. The skulls are a pretty decent melee weapon, but you can drop them
without losing the effects. The effect will stay with you throughout any
Campaign mission(not in multiplayer :-( ) and you can only get rid of
them by shutting off your Xbox.

Cool though I picked up the "Grunt Birthday" skull a few times and never
really noticed any effect later on.  I shot heaps of grunts throughout that
level not a single one exploded.  I don't think grunts have any real shield.

Oh well it is stil fun to find the skulls :p ... It makes for an interesting
challeng in amungst the rest of the campaign.

Shoot them in the head. Shoot an unshielded enemy in the head and they
go boom. :-D

Arrrrgghhh yes that might be it.  I shall try it out.  It is hard to get a
head shot in legendary mode though but it will put an interesting spin on
things :p.

Oh I just realised there are like 6 or so grunts right there with the skull.
So I just pick the skull up and I can make em blow up easy as those ones
don't fight back.

What happens if I get two or more skulls do I get all the effects or just the effects of the most recent one I picked up.
