The demo only has "save last checkpoint" option and then when you restart
the game , you have to start all over again.
Does the full version let you save and restart where you left off or at the
check point when you run the game later?

Thanks,
Lutrell

Don`t worry. There are loads of checkpoints. Loads of`em! You don`t have to
replay like in other games with checkpoints. It`s basically an autosave
function and I wish other games would work this way. Saving the checkpoints
just lets you go back and replay bits of you want to.

The checkpoints are frequent in the retail version of the game so you
usually only have to restart at a point not too far from when you died.

Only at checkpoints, and if you fall to your death you're going to have to
start over anyway, because I've invariably found that if you do plummet to
your doom, it will save another checkpoint AS you're falling. So as soon as
the checkpoint reloads you die. And then die again. And again.

I've never had that happen.
