Hi, I downloaded from Emule a working copy of Halo.
It's an MDF and MDS Alcohol 120% image files.
I tried burning them using SAFEDISC V2 profile at a speed of 8x using a
PLEXTOR burner.
I trashed 3 CD because after burning them the CD player could not read
them...
anyone knows how to do this.....?
thnx.

Just wait a few weeks and then buy the game from Amazon for a reduced price.
It will work then.

last i heard, plextor's aren't the preferred device for making 1:1
copies of disc's. the price of purchasing a burner that supports sd2
versus purchasing the game and enjoying playing it online are about
the same. let me save you some time in the decision making process in
highly suggesting you choose the later of the two choices :) either
way, hf playing halo.

Indeed, Plextors are nortorious for not being able to burn 1:1 copies of
discs. I would suggest a LG Electronics or Lite On for an inexpensive drive
for burning illegal software. Still more expensive than buying this
particular game, but it might pay off for you in the future.

last i heard plextor's weren't the preferred device for making 1:1
copies of cd's. the price of getting a burner that would support
making an illegal copy of the game versus purchasing the game itself
and getting to play it online are about even. i'd suggest the later
of the two =)
