Can someone help out an inexperienced idiot? I am in the 'escape' section and am stuck. Am I supposed to cross the flickering bridge? gaddam it, if you havent figured out by now, its impossible to cross the damn bridge. its quite clear that Halo always funnels you in one direction, theres only one root, the main perpose of the game is to kill as many covenant and flood as quickly as possible, after that, all you have to master is moving, its that simple. in the room with the flickering bridge (which, if you remember is one of the rooms you passed through, and you got accross by the bridge) there is only one way out, go there, and keep going, there maybe two, but ive seen that a few times, and the only diff. is that one way leads to the upper level of the other door or vice versa. just ignore the damn bridge. wow, im easily irritated > Can someone help out an inexperienced idiot? Run and jump and hope the bridge is 'on' when you land on it. It can be done. Am I supposed to cross the flickering bridge? yes, it can, i stand corrected, i went back and stared at the bridge for about an hour. theres a pattern of flickering, if u time it correctly, there is a period where the bridge is on for the longest, then if u jump the instant it turns off, u will land on the next flicker. u should hold the spacebar down after this adn you should get across. or u could take the fun route, and go out the standard way > .....or on the other hand. Signature-- Jonathan AIM: Striker6879 Remove NOSPAM to reply via e-mail most likely, all i wanted to see was if you could indeed make it across. but if you remember correctly, when you first entered the facility, theres an elevator down, and then u go throguh a dorr (with about 20 guys there all waing for u. if ur smart u probly chucked a grenade into their party) and that door leads to a platform, and that platforms bridge was broken, so ur probly right, u couldnt make it all the way back > Is there any point to making it across?
