Yep - there *are* lame Server Admins out there.
Case in point: There is a server out there that runs Blood Gulch all day,
all the week and says so in the name of the server - I think you can
figure-out the name of the server from that info.
Evidently, this server is run by a bunch of people who think it's cool to
kill-off the server when the said bunch of people are being plastered, or
when someone complains that someone is using what appears to be some sort of
server hack or cheat (and we all know that there ARE hacked servers out
there) - case-in-point: shooting 4 rocket volleys directly at one player who
is rushing the base with a fuel-rod gun and he does not die; not even using
quad-shields can someone survive that attack, and don't even think of saying
"lag", because all of the users and the server in question were all pinging
under 170ms. I complained and continued to complain about possible cheats,
and then all of a sudden I get the "Lost Network Connection" message. The
server wasn't available again for at least 10 minutes.
I think it's time for the honest, fun-lovin players out there to publicly
out these servers and their admins, or boycott them and not join them - let
them play by themselves; it's probably what they're best at.
Peace - at the end of a rocket launcher.

Amen ... I've had the same issues with them and haven't played on their
servers since I suspected the same thing.
p.s. Say hi to Andy Buse for me. ;-)

Then why wouldn't they just kick you if you were sh.tting them?
Don't connect to that server, most ppl will feel the same after a few
minutes if what you say is true and not just sour grapes.
