NO we won't...........................

If Microsoft don't fix all the bugs they created with their "update" patches
they will pretty soon lose 90% of online gamers.  Halo is a fantastic game
and it worked perfectly in V1.0.  All they have done with their updates is
to create more circumstances for lag to occur and make a very stable game
crash with depressing regularity.  My only gripe with V1.0 was the lack of
force feedback, which I find very strange for a game ported from X-Box.

I found gameplay on V1.0 excellent with no lag at all, providing everyone
logged on had their network settings correct.  The 1.031 patch has
introduced horrendous lag when TK'ers are booted and causes many people's
systems, including mine to completely freeze when changing maps in
multiplayer mode.  I am now sick of all the crashes and have stopped playing
online because it is so frustrating to have to reset my PC every 10 mins, or
sometimes 10 times every 10 mins!!!!!

Get yer act together microsoft!!  Anyway - why are there no microsoft tech
support people monitoring this newsgroup and dealing with problems?

I love the game but I'm pig sick of the poxy arse microsoft have made of
patching the game and the insistance that you cannot play online without the
buggy, crashing, crappy version is total b*llox.

If not, it's a fashion victim. For the two games in question, the
... debate ... could last ages, but for any two things in general,
your logic is not so much flawed as non-existent. Lots of things
made recently have failed to live up to the standards of products
ten years older. Land Rovers, Microsoft Flight Simulator and EF2000
are examples. Aviator wasw a much better game. It could stand to be
updated ... not that we have mice, for example ... but the game was
a lt more fun than dropping laser-guided bombs on a 100m-grid real-
terrain mock-up of Scandinavia. *click*click*click* Whoooo. *yawn*

It was fun, back in the day.  Have you tried it recently?  Your
Unreal/Quake/Halo reflexes make controlling the Wolfenstien guy almost
impossible, it's funny.
