What are the minimum/recommended specs for Half-Life 2?

The required specs haven't been released yet.

I just came from Sierra's site. The only thing new there is that the
projected release date of Oct. 2003 has been removed. Does anyone know the
new release date... if any???

Nobody knows for certain. Valve hasn't said.
