Anyone tried it?  Tried the demo tonight and bought the game - only a
fiver.  Type of a racing/puzzle game to music.  You pick a favourite
song from your HD (or from the Orange Box - you get the soundtrack with
it) and the game evaluates that song and builds a track to suit, i.e.
slow music gives you a gentle climb while a little hard rock gives you a
wild downhill slalom.  Have a look.

If anyone picks up the demo on this or buys the game you 'have' to try
it with Safri Duo, played Alive (bongo song) or Ride of the Valkyries by
Wagner.  Bloody quick reflexes required!

Prodigy "Firestarter" ?

That's a smashing idea, I will try it with that and let you know. Dimmu
Borgir and the Star Wars Imperial March are on the list to be tried.

Firestarter was a bit, "meh" kinda lame.

I tried "Ghost Riders in the Sky" by the Outlaws and was pleasantly
surprised by how orange/red it was through most of the track.

    Holy sh!t, what a blast!

    Going to purchase right now.

(Wish there was a non-steam version, as the wifey would love it, too,
I'm sure, but probably wouldn't be too keen on Steam taking up residence
on her machine.)

My wife didn't want Steam on her machine, either... until she played
Peggle...

Certainly more entertaining than a game of Ricochet.
Its quite different than anything I've seen lately (but I get out too much).

Anyway, back to experimenting with Boogie type Rock ala The Four Horsemen,
if anybody remembers them.
Slow starting songs, then some hard rock......................

It may sound silly, but I think I may try a Garbage CD as well.  Shirley
Manson is good for that slow-fast-slow-fast repetition thay may work on
Audiosurf very well.
