All I want for Christmas is my evga step-up to a 8800 GTS 512 Mb G92

I made the mistake of buying an 8600 GTS when I put my new system
together.  Fortunately evga's step-up program has allowed me to rectify
that error in judgment.  But I'm in a queue, #35, and it's two days
before Christmas, so I don't think Santa is going to come through.

I just got a Blackberry Curve, so that's off the list.

What's on everyone else's techno-geek-gamer list for Christmas?

Oh yeah, Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, Joyous Kwanzaa, Super Solstice
and a Happy New Year.
Personally I celebrate Isaac Newton's birthday on Dec. 25.

Lot's of firms are still delivering on Xmas Eve but I guess you'd have
had an e-mail saying it had despatched :-(

Lots of strange questions about graphics cards were asked a while ago by
different members of the family so I'm half-hoping/half-dreading a new
graphics card.

Half-hoping because there is a slight chance that the technophobic wife
has got it right and bought a GT or new GTS and half-dreading it because
she's probably more likely to have bought a X1600 of some type and I'll
have to smile sweetly and say thanks.

Got the card yet?

It was a Gainward 512MB 8800GTS and damn it's a great card.  Almost
silent but so sodding powerful its unreal.  Plays Crysis at high at
1680x1050 so far (it may well slow down in the later stages as my
previous card did - we'll see).  COD4 looks fantastic.  Really pleased
with my present this year Santa (though I could have done with some
socks as well)

You may see a reply to this but I can't because the MI5 filter deleted
it!  I need something better..
