Depends how confident you are that the Orange Box really is brand new,
has not been used and importantly, India is a region where Valve will
allow it to be imported from. I'd *strongly* advise you ask the
question in the Steam forums.
If you do have to set up a second account then switching between them
means simply entering a new user name and password.

Be aware that offline mode can only work with one account at a time too.

Didn't know that...

Not at all a wise purchase. Do not be surprised if you find that the
CD key has been already used to create a Steam account and you have
been shafted. Well, the box contents can then be used for Christmas
decorations :-) :-)

Yes !
A new account-name. And password.
And more importantly a new email-address to attach to the account
name. ( Create a new email account on hotmail or something similar )

Dead-easy. Just log-in to Steam under the alternate account-name and
password.

Yeah. I can't see why anyone would go the
buy-a-foreign-edition-cheaply route when 'tis the season for big sales
at major retailers. Best Buy has already had the Orange Box for $25 on
Black Friday. Who knows, maybe they or someone else will have it there
again sometime this season.

I had HL and HL2 bound to my old Steam account, I gave both games away
together with the Steam account. I bought The orange box for 50 euros from a
local shop, and I just opened a new steam account.
