I like the way that STEAM works. Pity they can't start flogging movies and
music as well. Thirteen million people can't all be wrong? I also have
HL2E2, TF2 and Portal vouchers that have been bundled in with my new
graphics cards, it's all good! I wish that Valve would start the preloading
for these games soon, and give a release date, so I can book a few days off
work to play them!

I can smell a troll. Or, worse, a none-too-clever retailer.

You need to trip-trap trip-trap over the bridge to
comp.sys.ibm.pc.games.action to do that.

He doesn't read this group - just x-posts to it occasionally.

We don't want him here either, so lets keep posts aimed at csipga in

Sounds good.  You might like to pop into t'other group sometimes just to
lurk.  The comedy value cannot be understated.

What is csipga?  I googled it and didn't get anything related to a
newsgroup. Nearest I can figure is "crime scene investigator for the
professional golf association." But, I doubt that's what it stands for.
Confused Scott in Austin MN.

Lol.  comp.sys.ibm.pc.games.action  It's a gaming newsgroup where folk
aren't half as friendly as over here but its always good for an amusing

as Shawk said, just an abbreviation for the name of the newsgroup
comp.sys.ibm.pc.games.action  (Because typing that out is a bit of a
mouthful..)
Virtually every troll thread i've seen here in the last year or so has
been crossposted to that group - Also, it usually involves the troll
known as 'pc games'/'saynotosteam'/'steamkiller'/'difool'
(at least, i figure that they're all the same person) who i can only
assume is one of their regulars :)

Yup - all the same poster - it's the groups equivalent of the village
idiot.  No-one's sure if its a very clever sock or a genuine moron and
many regs over there want others to KF and not reply to him but there
are some (and I lean that way) who find many of his posts
unintentionally hilarious - a little like regularly visiting a good
comic strip.  In fact he should have got a part in 'concerned'
