Happy 4th of july to CF, McG and all our American friends. Best Regards, Rene Thank you! Tomorrow - big parade down main street. Lasts about 2 hours. Beer and Bratwurst at the park where the parade ends. It's the best holiday: no presents to give, no company coming over, no big dinner to have to fix and clean up after, don't have to get dressed up, nothing that has to be done other than spectating the parade and watching the fireworks at night, and no going to Church. Had a great day. Bbought twelve 2 pound USDA prime porterhouse steaks and baked some Idaho potatoes with a salad and had both of our next door neighbors over for a pool party.... Lots of food, Sam Adams beer and splashing in the pool... Antonio owns a tree service company and promised a treatment for my pecan trees and Dwayne, a scout for the Houston Texans football team, gave us season tickets..... Afterwards we watched the spectacular fireworks at the park two blocks away from our back yard...... All in all a fine day... Thanks to you Brits for founding this amazing country.....
