Hi there,

I was curious as to how well I'm doing after playing for two years.
It's not a competition, hell I think if it were I'm going to come last.

I'd just like to know the sort of things you could play after two years
so I can gauge myself against your expertise at that time.

If this isn't acceptable, that's fine then please excuse me and ignore
this thread.

Thanks

Well, I don't remember much, since I'm so much more experienced now, but
I've been told I had mastered hide n' seek, help Mama in the kitchen,
finger paints, tug-of-cat/war, and many others. Hope that helps ya! :-P

I'd love to but I'd like arrange this for after my present mission.
Street Spirit Fade Out.

I've got most of it, it's a repetitious finger picking pattern and
although that's pretty much it. There a couple of small variances but
apart from that it's pretty straight forward.

When I finish that, sure!

Although I don't have an MSN account anymore nor a webcam. But then I
wouldn't need a webcam to pick up bar chords.

We'll sort something out for sure. I'll drop an email your way.

I've got it pretty much down. I can play it at the correct speed but
there are still errors. I'm just refining it now really.

Pleh....would be no help....never tried to play other peoples music....went
a different route....learnt chords / notes etc, and just make up me own
stuff.

Sure it's sh.t, but it's my sh.t.

(not to say I cant play other peoples stuff, after a year of playing it just
seemed....pointless...to play other peoples stuff.)

Oh been playing about 5-6 years here, I'm fuckin terrible still ^_^

I have fun both ways. It's fun to play songs that I love (especially
for an audience who digs it) but it's rewarding in a different way to
compose.

I just found songs I like and that provided a new challenge. To begin
with it was Dylan and cash and each new songs taught me new chords,
rhythm, hammer on hammer off etc.

I like to write but I know my stuff is bad so I just keep learning. When
I feel I'm "good" I might start writing again.

That may take a few more years :)
