I need help with counterstrike

I downloaded counterstrike on my acer aspire 5610 laptop its really
good for games but counterstrike just dosent seem to work. When i
click on it on steem it comes up that it dosent have my video card on
its database.
Can anyone give me any ideas on how to get it working, its so anoying
to have a game that i cant play.

Do you have DirectX 9.0c installed?  Even if you do, I don't know if
your integrated graphics would run Source games very well.  What sort of
games is your computer really good at?

The 5610 models is all equipped with Intel GMA 950
http://www.intel.com/products/chipsets/gma950/

You should have looked at eg the Aspite 9800 or 9810 series which is
equipped with Nvidia 7600 GS if you wanted a laptop which is good for gaming

Have you tried to choose ignore or continue, do you get other error
messages?
I have an earlier version of the onboard GMA gfx chip, while HL2 is almost
playable CS:S is unplayable
A powepoint slideshow will probably be more enjoyable than CS:S on a GMA
chipset!
