Hi guys,

Possibly the wrong group but can anyone tell me whether FEAR requires
on-line registration, as H-L2 does with Steam?

I think it is a Sierra game?

Thanks!

No, it doesn't require Steam or anything similar, just a CD key.

Thanks!

Next question:

They recommend a 4 by 3 (presumably wide-screen) monitor in the minimum
spec - is it likely to be playable with a standard monitor?

Only have a standard monitor here and it plays and looks great.  That too is
4:3  ;-)

16:9 is the usual widescreen.

16:10 is actually the standard widescreen. 16:9 is typical widescreen movie
format.

Nope.  No online requirement at all except for MP (obviously).
