Is anyone else eagerly awaiting the new They Hunger to be released?
I've been waiting ages and for the last 2 years all the updates on the
game progress have been that the game has been implemented but is going
through thorough tests and tweakings. Are there any estimates to a
release date?
I think Neil Manke has produced the best single-player third party mods
there are for Half-Life. Very much looking forwards to this one.
Just started to play Rock 24. Looks good...

Have you ever tried the USS Darkstar HL mod also done by Manke?

Nice mod and atmosphere
It was chosen by Valve Software for presentation to the press at the first
Half-Life Mod Expo'99 at San Francisco.

Yes, USS Darkstar was a brilliant mod!
I used to spend hours playing the thousands of single-player mods that
came free with the PC Gamer magazine.
However, now that maps are becoming more and more complicated there are
fewer (or shorter) single player mods available. Most of the new ones
released now are single maps for playing over the Internet. As much as
I love playing Counterstrike I still find that half the fun of playing
first-person games is exploring new environments. Not knowing what is
around the next corner!

Yup it'll cost us - but it is well deserved

I'll be up for paying for it.

Don't have a problem with paying for quality work and i think this will
be.  Also think that folk should be rewarded for their efforts.  I asked
because I'd seen it in PCGamer today and hadn't known there was a
charge.  Just checking...

Likewise, I will gladly pay for all the time and effort these people put
into these mods for our pleasure.
