Hey, Ben - how's the move gone? We're needing you in WoW on sundays -
email one of us (Sloth, ideally) for details of our new forum.

Got a nice epic bow for you when you return.. :)

Did you see the latest episode of South Park, a homage to World of Warcraft?

I did and i have to say it was a really well done episode, it was a
shame no Horde were shown though :(

Oh, I forgot about the epic bow, I've been keeping a green one for him :)

Do *none* of us have his email address? :(

wow, thanks :)  Although, i've actually already got a blue one.   If I
can't get back on, then I guess I'll have to retire Rydok again,
although I bet that epic one will fetch a good price on the AH for
whoever's got it..

Hi Ben, glad you're around and having a good time :)  Do some work!

Not sure if you were suggesting deleting Rydok, but I presume you know that you
can suspend your account to be picked up at a later date, without losing your
characters?

D'oh!  I wouldn't have assumed any email address in here was a real one ;)
It rings a bell now you mention it though.

i'm still lurking a little, but not nearly as much as I used to! As for
work - well, i'm spending plenty of time studying the local ales ;)  ..
and in my spare time I do a little coursework and Cisco/CCNA stuff too :-p

Of course, I'd just returned from a year's absense before (Back in
may-ish) - but, since I'm pretty much stuck with this ResNet connection
until next may, it could be a long time til he sees the light of day
again :(

Very annoying really, it was just starting to get interesting! All of us
approaching L60, and the new patch on the near horizon.   I hope having
only 4 party members doesn't wreak too much havoc for the rest of the
group though!

heh, it should do, we had a similar conversation once before ;)
surprisingly, it doesn't get much spam, even though its been active (and
advertised all over usenet) for 7+ years - but spamcop does a great job!

So, I gather you've all got another forum after Anders' one got
repeatedly vandalised - could you, or maybe dave, possibly email me its
top secret location? :)

Epic = purple = much better stats and dps than your blue. Trust us on
this one :)

The whole move went well, thanks.  I'm settled into Stafford, and
enjoying the place (its a hell of alot better than Swindon!)

I'm afraid WoW, along with just about any other online game is a
complete no-go for me at the moment :(   i'm connected to Staffs' ResNet
network which seems permanently lagged (presumably by people downloading
off bitTorrent, aswell as all sorts of other stuff) - the times i've
tried connecting to anything which needs a stable connection, I get
booted within under a minute.

To make matters worse, the land line is connected to a weird internal
switchboard, which only lets me dial out when I call the switch board
and enter a PIN number! (getting a 56k modem to do that for me is near
impossible)

argh!  just when I can't get on as well!    Actually, there's one
connection method i've not tried yet, which is dialup networking via
bluetooth to my mobile, but I've a feeling that will be really slow, and
a wee bit too expensive for a penniless student ;)

Thats a real shame - hope you get it sorted. Still, the invite is still
open to at least drop in to Dave's forum and keep up to date with us.
Email one of us for details...
