My ip has been blocked from accessing the Steam forums. When I try to
access, it says that I do not have permission to view the forums
(forbidden). I know they have blocked me, because the only way I can access
them is to use my dialup connection and another user name. Usually when you
do something wrong, you know why, but I can only guess what I did wrong.
Some of the threads I was posting in had been closed by their immature
moderators. So I posted a couple of messages that we could continue the
discussion on alt.games.half-life, which is a public unmoderated newsgroup.
You can also access it through google's newsgroup access.
The very next day, I was blocked. LOL! I don't guess it matters much. I
never got any help in their forums anyway. The only people replying are a
bunch of kids who don't have any technical experience whatsoever.
Thought you guys would get a kick out of this. I wonder if I am the first
person to be blocked by Steam?
CYA!

If you'd like you can send a nice, decent email to Gabe Newel
describing the problem in a conservative way
This will stirr things up a little
Being banned for posting links to other ressources is a little immature
to say the least
Depends on the context though :)
