As the illegal war in Iraq rages, and the USA and UK governments
allow Israel to threaten Iran and Syria and knowingly allow themselves
to be drawn into complete war with the middle east. The outcome
can only be China nukes the USA.When this happens will steam still
work, where are valves servers located and could I get my money back
if the whole of USA infrastructure is destroyed?

Get used to offline mode! And forget about multiplayer- probably be illegal
in a communist world. China would be more likely to nuke Korea or Japan
than the USA, so Sony can use that as an excuse for the delays in PS3
release!! IMHO, the UK/US are not "allowing" Israel to threaten it's
neighbours, but that Israel will do what it thinks is in it's best interests
and the rest of the world be damned. Must dash now and get stuck into BF2,
don't care what team I play as, long as its against the MEC!!! Carpe Diem
old chap! and, dulce et decorum est pro patria mori! The middle east would
benefit from a decent carpet bombing with nukes. LOL!

Very good point there, people hate the USA, but aren't shy about taking the
Dollar! Just like North Korea, who benefits from US grain imports.

Please be reminded that computer games won't improve your real muscles,
and lung-heart functions. Real sport does.
So it's more healthy for you to play less with computers. :)

Thinking logically we can check this on several points.
1. The Internet was built with an nuclear attack in mind. Anyone
attempting to take it out would find it suprisingly strong.
2. Valve has european servers . Matchmaking services in europe would
probably work.American services could be routed through europe with
high latency.(but really, would anyone be playing games while their
country is being nuked)Disconnects would probably happen after every
blast.
3.I think Valve would have worse to deal with then refunding your money
, so no.

You've gotta take into account the EMP blasts that come from nuclear
detonations too. They'd fry any electronics within a certain radius and
travel much farther along the wires.
