Yep I know the drill :)

Scan-see?

All comparisons (against picking using handheld/truckmounted rf terminals
with barcode scanner or paperbased picking) shows that the warehouse/company
will have a turnover within half a year
If the picking process is reversed enginered it's even shorter in some cases
Better than getting a hit in lotto :)
During "proof of concept" we are recording a regular picking session in the
warehouse and a voice picking session
Both recordings is merged into one small movie and you can clearly see the
difference
I don't think we have done a head'to'head with arm-mounted scanners like eg
the scan-see :)
Please note: I am not into selling stuff, I am just a poor lonesome
developer who happens to like gadgets :)

They are made by Symbol...but the ones we use are actually
discontinued....

Sorry if the link wraps....We have 56 of these and it amazes me how
often people drop then on the floor when they cost that much money
each!

I don't scan anymore......but when I did scan as soon as the product
to be picked appeared on the screen you would automatically know where
it is (usually) if you work on the same picking station all the
time....but if you have to stand about and listen for a voice read-out
of the pick location (which would be like "B46012") then it'd take too
long to finish speaking....it is too fast paced in our manual picking
area....They have to pick on average about 150 items an hour....
