Hmm the mod does get a decent review here

If you're in for some Serious Sam action RO will probably not be your style
of gameplay

The style is a little like BF with a twist and a shake - lol

Hey, nice thanks.  Was thinking of buying it, but have just read...

If wargames are your thing, I highly recommend Red Orchestra. It is
far from ordinary. If you do decide to play there are two things you
need to know:

  1. UT2K4 is required ($29.99 new, $15.99 used).

Is the valve download a standalone product or is UT2004 needed?

I got this game and was impressed at the efforts of the team at tank
simulation. Very enjoyable and tense tank battles. Noe f.ck off and play
rainbow islands or the sims you twat.
