Hmmm....
I teleported from City 17 (or the like) and got dropped in a lake,
with a couple of large half-sunken boats at the other end. There
is one large multistory building that I've explored. In it are
a couple of "pressure plates" in the floor that seem to drop when
nothing is on them, and rise to floor level when enough weight is
on them. There is a big "6" on one of them that I can't move.
On the top floor, there is one room (where I got my shotgun) that
has an ant-lion replica that just sits there. The other side of
the top floor has some sort of control panel behind a metal screen
that I can't open; to the right of the control panel is a switch
that is accessible (outside the screen).
Outside this building are two other buildings, one with some
sort of electrical equipment that has zapped an ant-lion. The
other one is where I got my grav gun; it was on a pressure plate,
and when I took the gun, I got pummelled by ant lions and barely
escaped with my life. Behind this second building is a broken-
down truck with a couple of gas drums in it.
I've tried putting things on all the pressure plates to make them
rise, and tried taking things off to make them all drop, but I
can't get the 6 off the one plate. I've flipped all the switches.
Oh, and I tried to make friends with the ant-lion queen; this was
a less-than-successful enterprise that left me seeing red.
Maybe there's some way up to the coppola of the big building, or
some other switch I've missed seeing... but I don't see any hints
of something hidden, and only see three switches.
Thanks again!
thomas.

Ah, now I remember....you're still at an early point in the mod.
Forget about moving the big "6"...it stays where it is, and is a hint
for the pressure plate in the other side of the building. Just keep
placing the barrels and cinder blocks on the other pressure plate
until it rises to the top; then you can go out to the shed and flip
the switch.
This mod gets more interesting as you go along. Don't forget to
download "Combine Destiny" after you finish it:
