Hi all, I have a totally dumb question. I have Half-Life 2/Steam etc
installed and configured and have a valid account. I dont have CS
downloaded and installed however. Do I need to download/install that before
I can see the CS_militia map in Steam?

In otherwords, how do I get/download CS_militia?? :)

Yup. It's a map in CS:S so you need to d-load and install that. CS_militia
will be d-loaded automagically.

for the OP - cs_militia, as with all the other cs_ maps are only for
counter-strike.. you won't be able to play them in HL2DM.

Hi, thought so (about it being inside CS), no worries, I'll download it then
(if I have to :)

Not a big fan of CS but that map looks great!

After a short test, my first thoughts are it looks pretty, but doesn't play
as well as the original.

Its also an FPS murderer.

As far as killing the FPS, it seems to be worse around the front of the
house for me than around back. I was thinking maybe all the trees?
