In DoD:S, can't make connections to the server?

This is weird.  I just moved my computer between homes (and hence
networks), and now all of a sudden DoD:S can't connect to internet
games.  Everything is fine in HL2DM.  Does DoD:S use different ports
than HL2DM for some reason?  Anyone have an idea on how I should
configure my router to get this game working?

Hi there,

I had a bizarre similar problem where certain games connected fine, and
others (like CS:S and DoD:S) could see the servers in the server list, but
then not be able to connect to ANY of them.

I tried removing all Source/HL references from the firewall and letting it
ask me again to allow access to it. Nada, still the same.

I ended up renaming my Steam directory, and making it download all the Steam
content again. This solved the problem.  I realise its not a quick fix as it
has to download all the files again but it sorted it out for me.
