I can't get out of the freight yard.  There is a guy in the red railroad car
yelling for me to get him out but I don't know how.  I can't seem to get out
of there.  Will someone help me? Please?

I see no doors.  I tried to use the BIG gun on the flat rail car but can't
shoot my way out.

Thanks in Advance!

P. Beckley thought about it a bit, then said...

There are some big reels blocking the door. Perhaps you could shoot out
the stops keeping them from rolling away?

I'm a new gamer. I just bought half life the other day and can't stand
it because I can't appreciate this getting stuck sh.t. Is this the only
game where you can get stuck or are there others? I mean if you get
stuck they should at least let you kill yourself, which is what I felt
like doing.I thought it was me, but I just talked to a guy at comp usa
who considers himself a gamer who confessed that the only way he got
through half life was to cheat. Is this common? And if so how can such
a game be so highly regarded? He said HL2 was better in this respect.

It's a bug in the ld gamecode due to newer faster cpu's and videocards
Can't recall when it popped up first time on the internet, maybe two - three
years ago
Afaik is unresolveable

IIRC you don't have the bug in eg HL MP games
