Video problem in Lost Coast...

Have a problem that makes this candy unplayable... When the start
screen comes up I see a checkerboard of tiny white dots all over the
screen... It continues as I try to play... I had the same problem in
the cave with FarCry but can't remember how I solved it... Have an ATI
Radeon 9800XT video card... Thanx for any suggestions...

If I remember correctly some posts from a long time ago it was either heat
related or power related, Some chaps changed PSUs and some took the side off
and directed a large fan into the computer, This is 3rd hand so I can't
verify it.

just to reasure you....ive got the same vc and the same
happen when i played it. I have no idea the what the problems is,
but will continue to investigate.
i'll let you know what happens

my first reaction when I read the post was "Sounds like a driver prob"
.. Still got FarCry installed? run FC again and see whether the
problem has been un-fixed
