Heh. Typical Usenet response.

He wants a quick reply? Guess I'm too late now. Never mind.

Why do people write "Quick reply please"? I don't know about the rest
of you, but my PC isn't configured to drop everything and switch to
this NG as soon as a post with those words is created.

I was fast asleep when his post came thru, but I leapt from my hammock like
a twit unleashed, dived for my keyboard, hit my head on the shelf above my
monitor and collapsed in a bloody heap, muttering "alt.games.cou.... urgle"

That'll learn me to be keen.

Where does it say he wanted a quick reply?
He was asking for somebody called Wuick to reply, not all you
interfering do-gooders, so pick everything back up, get back to your
hammocks and leave the poor lad alone.
Anyways, perhaps it's something that ought to go in that bloody useless FAQ?

Do you want to ruin the FAQ?

That'll be the day - A great change in time and habits
So very unlike AGHL as it can be

Well, a typical response to someone who obviously can't be bothered to
use Google or check on any of the websites devoted to CS, and then has
the cheek to as for a fast response.

I had another fast response in mind, but Dan's a bit more polite...

Just a shame all his ideas are about penis enlargements...

Which reminds me of a little story I heard the other day

The tale starts an average day at the public bath
Into the scene enters two gentlemen a black and a white which is regulars
and visits the etablishment about the same time each week

One physilogical difference has troubled the white gentleman until this day
he finally pulled himself together to ask the obvious question:

"Excuse me, sir, but I have noticed that your size is above average, just
make me wonder
This equipment you can buy on the internet does it really work as promised?"

The black gentleman responds as politely and helpful as he is by nature
"No man, pure sh.t - I tie a rope around the head and a good stone at the
end of the rope, works like a charm"

Some weeks later they meet again
The white gentleman approaches and exclaims what a brilliant idea it was
The black gentleman raises an eyebrow slightly, and asks curiously: "How's
that?"
The former responds: "It is beginning to turn black, still hoping"

True story?
And no mine is not black - LOL
