Ha!!! One of the aspects of the company I work for is "The Lead
Connection"... I manage a network of 48 24 telephone line auto dialers
that give leads to insurance agents.... I also wrote the software that
scrubs it against the various states no call lists.... Telemarketing
RULES!!! That's 20% of my humble job...

At up to 11 grand a shot for screwups I hope you don't miss any.
I know of a mortgage company that had to pay 75G in fines because the
telemarketing company that they hired called some people on the DNC list.

What's the DNC list?
Lefty - 03 Sep 2003 13:12 GMT
Do not call.

Of course - and companies can get fined for breaching that? Which country
are we talking about here?

More importantly... how do I get on the list??  ;-)
I know they're only doing their job but there's a limit!! I even know one of
them by his first name.... he calls that often!  But they just don't get the
hint unless you're downright rude or abrupt...so this DNC sounds like an
excellent idea!!

;-)
