HL2 music

hope there will be an option not to listen to that awfull music i heard in
the previews

the good thing with half life 1 was that there was no music at all...

with music it's just an ordinary shooter

Yes, turn your speakers down.

There was music most of the way through Half-life, with the later patches
though you need the CD in to hear it.

I found the music, at times, added to the game, creating a great atmosphere.
You could always invest in some ear muffs.

I agree. In fact I think the music was one of the best features of the
original. Judging by the 'Combine Fortress' music I'm expecting an
improvement.

So if you heard no music with a later patch its because you didnt have the
CD in the drive while playing.
