Hi
Just downloaded HL2 preload.
It now says "A locked copy of HL2 is on your PC"

What does that mean ?
How do I unlock and play it ?
I do have the Key code supplied with my 9800Pro Graphics card

You wait until the game is released.

It's encrypted and you are going to need to buy it and the release
date has to have passed before you can play it.

He has an ATI voucher, so shouldnt need to buy it.. as long as he's
entered his Voucher CD Key it should work the moment the game is
released.... in theory :-)

I presume you're only saying this because you have an ATI voucher....

Nope!  otherwise i wouldnt have been toying with the idea of getting CZ
for the source test ..  But i'm also toying with the idea of buying HL2
over Steam, given that it'll be released on Steam 4 days before it hits
the shelves in the UK..  (i think the US release dates are always on a
monday as opposed to friday over here).
