Help with POF Mod

Can anybody tell me where to find a readme in English for the Portrait of
Freeman mod? I am stuck in the part where you fall down the shaft into the
pool of water.

I don't know whether there's a walkthrough, but if you can give some
more info about where you are, I might be able to help (but then again
maybe not, 'cause it was last November when I played it). I do
remember not being able to finish it tho'....bloody thing always
locked up near the end, in the room with all the spawning monsters.
Anyway, it was fun up to that point....

Okay, I played through to the point where I think you are. You have
to go into the other room with the pool of toxic waste, and shoot the
grate's cover in the centre of the pool. After it's drained, go
through the ducts, find the wooden brace holding up the shelf, and
shoot it. If you need any more help, just ask.

Always glad to help. Anyway, your question got me going and now I'm
playing through it again. Let me know how you get through the double
doors before they close.

Breakout glass window in front of console then standing to the right side of door-open crank , open doors. If you are oreinted right, a slight turn then hop over console out window and thru the doors. A scripted sequence follows then be ready to fight some controllers.
