The pre-order prices for online retailers usually last right up to the release date. I'm not in such a rush to play it on the day, I'd just like to buy it cheaper :) It looks like an expensive few weeks for me, there are three other must-have (for me) games due for release in October. The gaming crisis where I have two excellent games and a serious decisional problem picking which one to play. All I got to say is, HL2 is going to have to be good to get me away from Star Wars Galaxies. HL2 will have to do i guess... Vivendi Universal says that Valve is now scheduled to complete the game in time for the holidays. When Valve announced Half-Life 2 in early May, some were surprised by Valve's firm insistence that the game would be ready to ship on September 30. Today we received word from the game's publisher, Vivendi Universal, that Half-Life 2's release has been delayed until later this year. He certainly didn't need to banter with me over 1k to make a living. He saw where I was going and followed, just for the fun (and hell) of it. Kudos to him.
