If anyone here remembers the classic Duke 3d maps set in Disneyland,
I'm attempting the same thing with Half-Life. So far I've got a the
Pirates of the Carribean ride done up until the first waterfall
(complete with talking skull and banjo music) and a small portion of
the Indiana Jones ride.
Anyone have any comments or ideas?

Yeah, wait for the Half Life 2 engine to come out, you'll have a bigger
audience with that :D

And a bigger map size to go with it .. HL maps have a maximum of
4096x4096x4096 ... HL2 will allow up to 16384 x 16348 x 16384..
potentially 64 times larger (including the height enlargements) :D
