Quote from PC Gamer interview with Gabe:

"So then there are the big moments, we call them the 'money shots',
things like the tentacle silo in the original game".

'Tentacle silo'. Ah well.....

the right place...

Very impressive.  It would be churlish to point out that he didn't begin the
name with a capital letter :)

I believe it should have a hyphen, btw.

Hmm, maybe Olympus should see the quality of his recent work before they
continue sponsoring him.

Okay okay, I'll take the railway station as the authoritative designation.
Somewhere in our family there's a picture of me stood in front of that sign,
aged about 9.

I'm still sure that I've frequently seen it spelt hyphenated, though.

The silo is the thing that the tentacles are coming out of, I think.
Missile silo, huh?
And the body of the creature is down below. Only the sound sensitive
tentacles protrude out of the hole.

My take on it, anyway.

I was more disappointed with how prosaic the name was, after the

I wouldn't worry about it, Neil. Who does Gabe think he is? He's probably
never even played the game;)

The solution to that is to simply blow the f*ckers head of before you
set off the rocket thing.
